Industrial rooftop solar for factories and MIDC units
Machinery, compressors and HVAC run through the day, which is exactly when solar generates. We turn your shed roof into a power plant, on CapEx or with zero upfront investment.
- ₹0 upfront with RESCO
- Owned after 72 months*
- ALMM-listed modules
- Net metering handled
*Ownership transfer and its timing depend on the RESCO agreement; conditions apply.
Benefits
Why solar works for Factories & MIDC units
Offset heavy daytime load
Solar output peaks with your production hours, offsetting the costliest units on your bill.
Stabilise energy costs
Lock in a predictable per-unit cost and protect margins from future tariff revisions.
Meet ESG and buyer targets
Report measurable renewable energy use and lower Scope 2 emissions to customers and lenders.
Engineered for industrial sheds
Structural checks and mounting designed for metal sheet, RCC and pre-engineered building roofs.

FAQ
Common questions
How can rooftop solar be zero investment?
Under our RESCO model, Vividh Ventures funds 100% of the plant: engineering, equipment, approvals, installation and commissioning. You sign a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and pay only for the solar units your premises consume, at a per-unit rate lower than your current grid tariff. If the plant does not generate, you do not pay for those units.
What is the difference between CapEx and RESCO solar?
With CapEx you buy the plant upfront, own it from day one, keep all the savings and can claim accelerated depreciation where eligible. With RESCO you invest nothing, we own and maintain the plant, and you buy its power at a discounted tariff. Many businesses with strong cash flow and tax capacity choose CapEx; those who want to protect working capital choose RESCO.
How long is the RESCO agreement, and what happens at the end?
Our standard term is 72 months, after which ownership of the plant is transferred to you free of cost and the power it generates is yours. Longer terms are available for larger capacities or specific deal structures. A well-maintained plant typically keeps generating for 25 years, so you benefit for many years after transfer.
Who handles cleaning, maintenance and repairs?
Under RESCO, we handle 100% of cleaning, monitoring, maintenance and repairs for the full agreement period at no cost to you. For CapEx projects we offer an annual maintenance contract with remote monitoring, scheduled cleaning and performance reports.
What happens during the monsoon or on cloudy days?
The plant works alongside your existing connection from MSEDCL, Tata Power, Adani Electricity or BEST. When solar output drops, your premises draw from the grid automatically with no downtime. Annual savings already account for Mumbai and Maharashtra monsoon conditions.
